Welcome to Riverside Family Restaurant

We are a full-service family restaurant. We take great pride in our many homemade entrees, sandwiches, soups, desserts, and PIES! We offer many great homemade meals at affordable prices so you can go out to eat and not feel guilty.

Riverside Family Restaurant first opened its doors on August 11, 1992, and we have been serving great meals and the BEST pies ever since. Riverside Family Restaurant started off as an independently owned and operated Restaurant and is still being run by the same family.

Sadly, for all of us here, we lost one of the owners, Shirley Zeilinger to breast cancer on December 19, 2004. We have all worked hard to continue making her pies with the same recipes, love, and care that she put into them. We feel that it is our greatest accomplishment to continue the pie-making tradition that she started.

Riverside Family Restaurant has some of the best employees anywhere. We have several employees who have been with us since the day we opened, we would like to think that Riverside is a great place to work.

We are lucky to have three of the best bakers around. All our bakers worked with the original pie maker, Shirley Zeilinger and learned from the best how to make the best pies. We have added a few new pie choices since Shirley passed away, but our coconut cream is every bit as good as when she was still with us working in the kitchen!

We love our customers and many have become good friends, not just a customer looking for a meal to eat. We are looking forward to you becoming one of our newest friends.
